On most trips students will have some free evenings and a free day. The VCU students did a variety of activities including hiking, guided tours, fishing, and shopping. Some rented cars to visit the surrounding area. On Sunday we travel back to the United States.
Occasionally the trip includes a third location. From Buenos Aires we headed south into Patagonia and the town of Bariloche. After meeting with a leading foundation focused sustainability we enjoyed the city.

Some meetings are at client sites that include a tour and briefing from top executives. Also sometimes they are a lot of fun when the winery happens to represent a leading sector, food & beverage!
All MBA groups will have business meetings or client projects in country. Usually you will get a macroeconomic overview, meet with staffers from the US Embassy, and hear presentations from market leading firms in the top industrial segments. Sometimes the meetings are at the hotel but are usually at the client site.
most trips include a county deep dive into the culture or typical activity. On this trip in Chile we traveled to the Andes for hiking and horseback riding. Amazing views and super nice people!
